Missions

To promote and enhance the know-how of designers by organizing actions at internaltional level :

• Participation in large international shows, fairs and competitions with groups of designers.
• Invitations to foreign decision makers and the international press to meet designers in Belgium.
• The development of various types of promotional media (brochures, exhibition catalogues, CDs, ...).

To support Walloon and Brussels designers in their approach to exports.

We provide information on:

• financial support (strategic planning, legal and expert advice, Websites, prototyping, etc.)
• opportunities abroad (competitions, partnerships, ...)
• assistance in finding new customers

We organize training, conferences and seminars for designers interested in exporting..

Addressing a public of entrepreneur designers, Wallonie-Bruxelles Design/Mode combines the resources intended for artists on the one hand, with resources for companies on the other. In fact, Wallonie-Bruxelles Design/Mode is an agency

	of the Walloon Export and Foreign Investment Agency (AWEX) which supports Walloon exporting companies,
	Wallonie-Bruxelles International (WBI) and its Culture service which encourages the international expansion of Wallonia and Brussels' cultural and artistic companies, and
	the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles (Visual Arts Department) which promotes visual artists and designers.
